Greenhill Farm appeal gives permission to Gladman.

by michaelwyatt on 5 January, 2016

Cllr Michael Wyatt has received the decision today from the planning inspector concerning the application for 180 houses on the Greenhill farm site off Greenhill Road. PermissionĀ as beenĀ granted to the developer.

Cllr Michael Wyatt said, “I’m absolutely gutted that the planning inspector as allowed this development to go through. Obviously local councils and local residents strong opposition is not a reason to stop housing being built on our open countryside.

It’s a massive mistake in my opinion, and one that we will all suffer from due to the additional traffic along our already busy roads in the local area.”

I am disgusted that the council have given permission for this devopment.
Greenhill Road is already very busy and will be more so when the David Wilson site is occupied. To build another site directly opposite is dangerous .I do not live on that side but to have
houses and a retail business backing on to your property must be very upsetting After living here for 45 years we have now lost all the green space surrounding .
I note that property is already up for sale in that area.
