Local Councillors visit CCTV centre
Cllrs Michael Wyatt and Julie Roberts visited the CCTV centre in Coalville to see for themselves the new camera’s working on the Greenhill Estate.
Your local Liberal Democrat Councillors are delighted to report that the camera’s are already having a positive affect in tackling crime in the local area.
Cllr Michael Wyatt said, “Its great to see that our policies are having a difference to the area in which we all live. We were determined to have camera’s installed in Greenhill. I can only thank everyone for their continued support. I only hope the Conservative council does not cut the CCTV budget, which will only play into the hands of the criminals. The Tories cannot say they want to help tackle crime then cut the very budget that can provide a valuable tool in making our streets safer.”
