Good News for Kenmore Estate Footpaths

June 17th, 2008 by michaelwyatt

Cllr Michael Wyatt wrote to the County Council over the poor state of the footpaths around the Kenmore Estate. Cllr Wyatt asked the County Highways Officers to see if the area can be included in the footway slurry sealing programme, due to the poor state of the footpaths.

The Highways Officers have sent Cllr Wyatt a letter saying that they will reassess the area and look to see if it can be included in the next round of capital contenders.

Cllr Michael Wyatt said, “I will continue to push for the footpaths on the estate to be included in the next round of capital programmes. Yet again its clear to everyone that Labour are continuing to neglect the area in which we live and only the Liberal Democrats are making a real difference to the local area.”
