Action against drunks near children’s play area
Councillor Michael Wyatt has contacted the local Police Inspector concerning a group of people who are starting to use the area near to the Greenhill Shops for a place to drink themselves stupid. many residents have contacted the Lib Dem Team for help.
Many local people have said they are not happy allowing their children any where near the play equipment when the group of drunks are there. Reports of verbal and offensive remarks have been made by the group to locals who use the shops.
Cllr Michael Wyatt has asked the Inspector to make the area a priority and to enforce the law to the maximum to make the perpetrator’s understand that this behaviour is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.”
